In Paris, there is so much to do if you are into beauty!

Whether you are into skincare, makeup, perfume, or simply getting dressed up, there is something here for you, in the fashion capital of the world! As a makeup artist and hair stylist in Paris, I have had the privilege to experience many of these places for myself. Below are my top 6 recommendations on things to do for beauty lovers traveling to Paris.

Are you all about relaxing, getting pampered, feeling empowered, or discovering new things about Paris with a fresh perspective? Take a look and see which of these beauty activities is the perfect one for you!

  1. Book a Paris Travel Photoshoot at the Eiffel Tower

Selfies are one thing, but getting your picture professionally photographed by an artist is another.

The Paris Photographer offers Eiffel Tower photoshoot packages of various sizes. Whether you are looking for a quick, 30-60 minute session at the Eiffel Tower, or a 4-hour photoshoot all around the city, The Paris Photographer and their photoshoot packages are hard to beat.

Eiffel Tower photoshoots are great souvenirs and are the perfect thing to do in Paris for beauty lovers looking to showcase their personal style. Not to mention, it’s an amazing “excuse” to get your makeup and hair styled professionally!

2. Sharpen Your Olfactory Senses with a Perfume Tour and a Visit to the Perfume Museum

Paris Perfume Experiences, such as Paris perfume walking tours by Rendez-vous Parfum, are a unique way to explore Paris, its perfumeries and to learn all about its fascinating history. Photo courtesy of Rendez-vous Parfum.

There is no better place to learn about the Art of Perfumery, its history and trends than in Paris, France.

The Musée du Parfum is a fascinating experience for perfume lovers in Paris. The museum is home to a vast collection of perfume bottles and beauty products that date back as far as Ancient Egypt! There is also a large educational section where you will learn all about perfume, its history and the various scents throughout the ages.

If Musée du Parfum leaves you wanting more, head over to Sillages Paris, a perfume atelier where you can create your own unique scent!

Want to hit the streets for a unique walking tour of Perfumeries in Paris? Check out Rendez-vous Parfum for walking perfume tours. I’ve been on this tour myself and had an absolute blast! I learned so much about the art of perfume and got to explore unique perfume ateliers around the city.

Shopping for makeup in Paris is fun but can overwhelm tourists - especially if you are not familiar with Paris, makeup, or the French language.

Paris has makeup shops all over the city, and it is important to know that English-speaking associates vary from store-to-store. If you’re a beauty addict who wants to experience all the makeup Paris can offer, check out my Paris Makeup Shopping Spree + Lesson experience, or WATCH the video below.

Once scheduled, we will discuss your beauty goals, review what products and brushes you own already, create a makeup shopping list, and hit the Paris beauty shops! Don’t worry, I’ll handle all the translations and make sure you walk out with products perfect for your skin and your budget.

Afterwards, you will learn how to apply your makeup using all your new products during a 1-on-1, personalized makeup lesson!

Biologique Recherche is a one-of-a-kind skincare experience in Paris that will delight your inner skincare junkie.

Biologique Recherche is great for those looking to learn more about their skin. The skincare experts at Biologique Recherche use state-of-the-art technology, called Skin Instant©, to analyze your skin’s condition and determine its specific needs. Afterward, expert beauticians deliver products in high doses over targeted areas, to bring the skin back to balance based on your personal results.

They also sell their own skincare product line which I have experienced for myself - the Lait U is one of my favorite gentle cleansers that I use every day!
