General Questions

How do I RESERVE your services?

Please fill out the form on our CONTACT page to send us a message and get started with booking your Paris make up and hair styling session. Once we’ve confirmed our availability for your event, we will send you a custom online link complete your services reservation process.

Do you provide on-location makeup and hair styling?

Yes, all of our services are provided on-location. We are happy to travel to wherever you need us!

Do you offer early morning services?

Yes, our make up and hair styling team is happy to provide you with beauty services as early as necessary in the comfort of your home, apartment, or hotel. Please note that additional travel fees may apply for your early morning appointment. 

How do I choose a makeup and hair look?

It is best to consider the formality of your event, as well as your comfort level with your make up and hair. For example, if you generally don't wear much make up, it is a good idea to try out a more natural look and build it up as you see fit. A great source of inspiration where you can search for a variety of looks is our Pinterest page - just follow the link and click on the different makeup boards to view lots of classic and trendy styles choose from! Remember to try and find a few different options so that we can curate a unique look based on your inspiration. Our team will provide you expert advice on picking the right option for you, which best suits your features and personal style!

How should I prepare for my beauty appointment?

Once you've reserved your appointment with us, you will receive detailed instructions on how to better prepare for your beauty session, including skin prep and hair care advice in order to make the most out of your makeup and hair styling experience! 

How long will my makeup and hairstyle last?

Your makeup and hair will be designed to have longevity (approximately 6-8 hours), but the outcome will vary depending on numerous circumstances. If you will be outdoors, your hair style may or may not become altered due to weather conditions such as humidity, rain, and wind. Also, if your hair does not tend to hold curl and you opt for a curled, down style, we cannot guarantee that it will stay as curly as you desire throughout the duration of your event. Your makeup application consists of water-proof products, though you may need to touch up your lipstick and re-powder at some point throughout your event. This varies largely depending on multiple factors, such as eating/drinking, sweating, crying, kissing, etc. We recommend that you hire your artist for on-location touch-ups if your event is longer than 3 hours.

Destination Weddings

Do you travel outside of Paris for weddings?

Yes! Our team will travel to wherever you need us within France, and beyond. Some of the many locations we’ve serviced within France include Ile-de-France, Provence, French Riviera, Burgundy, Dordogne, Normandy, and Bretagne. Our brides have also taken us overseas to the UK, Switzerland, Italy, and Morocco, so international travel can certainly be arranged for your event! Just send us a message with the details of your wedding, and be as specific as possible so Onorina can create an accurate quote for your beauty needs.

How many guest services can you accommodate?

Depending on the date of your event and how in advance you reserve your services, our team can accommodate medium-large parties. It is best to reserve services for larger groups at least 10-12 months prior to your wedding date. Onorina herself accommodates up to 6 services on the wedding day, in order to be able to give each client ample time and attention.

Do I need a bridal Makeup and hair styling trial?

A Look Design Appointment is never required with Onorina, but highly encouraged. Not only will this give you peace of mind that you’ve previewed your look, but you’ll get to meet your artist and have a personal connection before the big day. Having a chance to work together during a Look Design Appointment, or even for an engagement photo shoot, will also help your artist better get to know you, your hair, and facial features, and you’ll have a chance to refine your look together prior to the wedding day.

If you’re unable to schedule a Look Design Appointment, don’t stress! Onorina and her team are very considerate and attentive when it comes to your beauty needs, and will ensure to discuss all your ideas before you meet. We’ll send you questionnaires, and even schedule a video call if necessary to further discuss and be on the same page. We know how important your look is, and we’ll take great care that you feel comfortable and, most importantly, confident in your beauty!

Do I need makeup and hair styling touch-ups?

Touch-ups are a great way to ensure your makeup and hairstyle look perfect in every photograph or throughout the duration of your event. If your wedding is longer than 3 hours or taking place in windy, humid, or rainy weather conditions, we encourage you to consider adding on touch-ups to your services. It’ll be like having your very own personal beauty assistant! Additional fees will apply for touch-ups, and you can choose how many hours you wish to have your artist stand-by, depending on your needs for your wedding. We also provide all our brides with a complimentary touch-up kit, so you can re-apply your personalized lip color once your artist has departed.

DO YOU PROVIDE A SECOND LOOK SERVICE? HOW ABOUT ENGAGEMENT AND REHEARSAL DINNER BEAUTY SERVICES?

Absolutely, we love how stylish our brides are and are happy to create multiple looks on the same day. Let us know what you’re envisioning and we’ll create a customized wedding beauty services package for you. We also offer add-on services for Engagement Photoshoots and Rehearsal Dinners, so you can look and feel your best for all your wedding festivities.

Makeup Lessons + Shopping

Do you offer group makeup lessons?

Yes, group lessons can be arranged! The optimal group sizes for personalized instruction are 4-6 ladies, but we can still create a demonstration-based beauty experience for a larger group of ladies. Get in touch with Onorina to discuss your ideas and create a makeup lesson plan for your event!

Do you offer group Makeup Shopping Tours?

Yes, absolutely! It’s even more fun to shop as a group because each person has unique needs and you’ll get to learn a whole lot about makeup! The optimal group sizes for makeup shopping are 3-4 ladies, so Onorina can still give each of you her undivided attention when selecting your foundation, concealer shades, and unique brushes just for you.

Where do your in-person makeup lessons take place?

Lessons can take place at either your place, a friend’s place, or Onorina’s place, depending on your location and preference.

Where do you go makeup shopping with your clients?

Each personal shopping experience is customized to your needs, so you will either visit a larger department store, a variety of makeup stores, or sometimes even professional makeup boutiques. We will take into consideration your location, the closest shopping areas next to you, your budget, and your desired outcome from this experience.

I already have some of my own makeup. Do I need to buy more products for a makeup lesson with you?

If you’re taking an Online Makeup Lesson with Onorina, you may be limited in products so it is best if you purchase what’s missing beforehand. If you schedule an in-person makeup lesson with Onorina, she will bring some of her own tools and products for you to use and experiment with, so it is not necessary that you buy more makeup or skincare. However, the benefit of adding on a makeup shopping spree to your lesson is that you’ll get my expert advice on the best products for your skin type and complexion, and Onorina will match your foundation and concealer to perfection. Plus, you’ll then learn how to use your new products during your lesson, so it’s a win-win!

How do I know which Online Makeup Lesson is right for me?

If you’re unsure which Online Makeup Lesson is right for you, consider your level of comfort with makeup, and how much makeup you like to wear. If you’re a beginner or don’t wear too much makeup, then Natural Beauty is more likely the course for you. If you love makeup and aren’t afraid to pull off a more dramatic look, then Red Carpet Glamour is the one for you! If you’ve always wanted to pull off a red lip but simply don’t know how, check out the Classic Parisian - you’ll learn how to perfect your foundation and define your eyes & brows too!

Should I start with your Do-It-Yourself courses, or an Online Makeup Lesson?

If you’re a makeup beginner or simply want to re-assure yourself that you’re making the right decisions when it comes to your makeup application, then I recommend starting with the Do-It-Yourself Makeup Courses. Once you’ve practiced and mastered some of the techniques, I recommend scheduling an Online Makeup Lesson, during which we will work on your specific needs and I’ll answer all your questions. The DIY Makeup Courses will provide you with professional skincare + makeup knowledge and techniques that will serve you in all your makeup applications, while the Online Makeup Lessons will narrow in on your specific questions, concerns, and areas where you may be having trouble with your skincare or makeup.

COVID-19

How will my beauty appointment be impacted by COVID-19?

You will be asked to wear a mask during your hair styling session, and only remove your mask for your makeup application. Your artist will wear a mask throughout the entirety of your appointment, and provide you with a safe and sanitary beauty experience as per our usual protocol. We always have our clients’ safety and best interests in mind, and will ensure to make you feel comfortable and safe during your beauty session.

What safety measures and precautions should I take during my appointment?

We ask that you kindly refrain from touching our artists’ equipment or tools, and keep children and pets away from the beauty station. If you have additional guests or family members present at your getting-ready location, we will ask that only a total of 3 people are allowed in the getting-ready space at once, and that all parties (besides you, the client) wear masks.

What is your cancellation policy in the event I can’t make it to an appointment due to travel restrictions directly linked to COVID-19?

We understand that your travel plans may be affected by restrictions depending on the country you’re traveling from. If you scheduled an appointment with us prior to France’s lockdowns, our team will work with you to find a solution and re-schedule your appointment to a later date. If you are planning to reserve your beauty services with our team, please keep in mind that we do require a retainer payment to make reservations, but we will be flexible in transferring this payment to a new services date should you need to cancel or reschedule due to travel restrictions.
