Plus you can walk away with some souvenirs as they produce their own olive oil and wine!”

My Bridal Beauty Advice for this wedding venue: “This venue calls for a classic bridal look, so I suggest opting for soft updos, half-updos, and even Hollywood waves if you want to look and feel extra glamorous! If you plan on getting married outside in plain daytime, remember that you may require some makeup touch-ups if you spend time in the sun. See if your makeup artist offers on-site touch-ups so you can look fresh all day long!”

HERE’S WHAT WE HAVE TO ADD:

CheyAnne + Doug’s Photographer Inspiration: “Bastide de Gordes is the one location where the venue is literally carved into the hilltop village of Gordes, providing the opportunity for a breathtaking landscape portrait of the couple with their wedding location! As an added bonus, the lavender fields are only a short drive away.”

Nyachia’s Wedding Planner Insight: “Known as one of the creme de la creme venues in Provence, the Bastide de Gordes is tucked away in one of the most beautiful villages in France. Providing some of the most iconic views of the Luberon landscape, the Bastide provides a sought after luxury that the Airelles Collection is known for along with surprises around every corner. This is the perfect venue for those who are looking for something a little extra special as the layout is unique to a venue that sits on multiple levels of the Gordes hillside.”

My Bridal Beauty Advice for this wedding venue: “As this venue is located on a cliff, beware of strong winds and lots of sun in the middle of summer - opt for updos and only wear a veil for the duration of your ceremony, so you can feel comfortable afterward. This location calls for a soft, classic bridal look, and you’ll look beautiful against the natural rock walls and greenery.”

My Bridal Beauty Advice for this wedding venue: “This castle is perfect for intricate veils, a long train, and ornate and full updos! I encourage brides to wear their hair up if getting married here in the summer, because it can get very hot outdoors. Also, opt for a makeup that doesn’t require a lot of touch-ups - softly glowing skin or matte skin, and a lip color you can easily re-apply (glosses are great for this!). Overall, go for a princess look in this magical chateau - you will feel oh-so-regal on your day!”
